EDI Acknowledgements Not Generating


At PBTI we run the EDIExport job on the background queue, since I have moved on from the organisation, the system has been very stable, but every now and again a file stops generating, this post is a quick set of notes for their current users to identify and resolve the issue


  1. Using Windows Explorer, go to the EDI export directory, this can be found on the form “Demand EDI Parameters – Interface Setup”, and is listed as “OB Data Directory”
  2. Delete any lock files – these have a file extension of “.lck”, the likelihood is the file will not be locked itself.
  3. Rerun the unload routine from the form “EDI Transaction Unload Routine”
  4. Check the export archive directory and check new file(s) have been generated
